Wi-Fi has become a necessity of every household, and since modern homes are constructed with complex structure therefore, Wi-Fi connectivity can be a tricky task. Thus, Google Wi-Fi routers, which are created with modern technology routers can be of great use, as these paired devices never fail to provideyou access to internet connectivity no matter the area range. However, if you wish to control other features of Wi-Fi connectivity on devices then, this can be handled by the formation of anetwork administrator. This can even improve the speed quality of the internet on devices. The method to make a ‘New Network Administration’ is specified below.

But, before you proceed, we will suggest you learn about the specifications of the Google Wi-Firouter, the area it can cover to offer Wi-Fi connectivity. In case the capacity of the Wi-Fi connectivity is lesser than you require then, you should try pairing another device. This will create a ‘Mesh network’ letting you access the internet in the rooms where it was difficult to access before. Besides this, you should also check with the ISP provider before you take the step of installing another router, as there can be an issue with the network as well.

Take the necessary steps as per the requirements. Now, let’s learn how you can attain better internet by prioritizing connectivity on different devices. Well, for this, you need to set a ‘Network Administrator’. Let’s begin the procedure.

Once, you have installed the Google Wi-Fi router at your place and linked a Google ID to it, then that Google ID will become the default network operator of the modem. The network operator or administrator can make changes to the Wi-Fi signals. However, this feature can be shared with other users, by adding a new network administrator. They both share similar powers except one i.e., of factory resetting. This particular function can only take place by the owner’s administrator account. If there are changes made by the other operator, the owner will be informed about the changes made.

How to make another administrator?

Follow the below-mentioned steps to create a new admin:

  • Begin with, opening the ‘Google Wi-Fi application’ on your smart device.
  • Followed by ‘Network and General’ settings.
  • Move further to, ‘Administrator’ and then, “+” option which will be next to a green icon.
  • Now, the prompt window will ask to enter the Email Address.
  •  In case, you are typing a new email address that has not been linked to Google account then, follow the steps appearing on the screen.
  • The following instructions will link the email address to the Google account.
  • Finally, tap ‘Save’.

You can now make the changes for internet connectivity on devices connected to Wi-Fi. You can provide maximum internet access to a particular device ranging from1 to 4 hours.
